This unique coffee is grown on the Northern border of El Salvador in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec Mountain range by the Menendez Family; a third-generation family of growers who have long been our partner.
Hidden among their Bourbon and Pacamara coffee tree varieties is their one of a kind Peach varietal. Believed to have developed from African coffee varieties imported in the early 1900’s, these coffee trees emit a notable peach aroma from the coffee cherries. With the careful attention of the Menendez family, this Peach varietal has grown to full production.
We roast this beautiful coffee as a light roast to maximize the floral notes and juicy peach characteristics of the bean.
