Our El Salvador Buena Vista is grown on the northern border of El Salvador in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec Mountain range. The Menéndez family has been cultivating coffee since 1880; growing to four farms along with their own processing mill.
Buena Vista itself is a 30-hectare farm consisting of 25 hectares of cultivated bourbon trees and 5 hectares' native forest canopy to provide excellent shade grown coffee. Owning their own mill provides an added layer to their quality which they control from planting to export.
This is a very traditional cup with aromas of almond fading into caramel and hints of citrus with a honeyed body.
